6 Junsu grabbed his and Sung Ri’s bags, putting them on his back and while ignoring the pain of his open wound, he picked the girl up and ran as fast as he could, leaving college and heading to his car parked in the lot.
He placed her carefully on the backseat, still squirming and got inside the vehicle, driving as fast as he could to the closest hospital.
After almost causing a traffic accident due to the absurd speed that he had driven to the hospital, Junsu finally got there.
He got out of the car and opened the back seat door, picking the girl up once again. The skirt she was wearing had turned red with the blood and as he picked her up, she put her blood stained hands around his neck and landed her head on his shoulder.
He ran as fast as he could, getting inside the hospital while asking for a doctor and as soon as a nurse spotted Junsu, she pointed out where he should lay down Sung Ri and seconds later, a doctor appeared while the nurses kept asking Junsu to stand back for a bit.
“What happened?” The doctor asked
“She suddenly started feeling a lot of pain and the blood just appeared. She is pregnant.”
“I understand. I am going to examine her now so I’ll ask you to step aside and wait here, alright?”
“Can’t he come inside, doctor?” Sung Ri suddenly asked
“I’m sorry, but he will have to stay here.”
Junsu smiled to her “It’s okay, the doctor knows what he is doing. I’ll wait her, okay?” He said
The nurses and the doctor quickly took Sung Ri away as Junsu sighed and soon found a chair to sit down while waiting.
Half an hour went by without anyone passing by the corridor and the wait was driving Junsu crazy actually but suddenly he spotted the doctor.
“How is she?” He asked immediately
“Are you her boyfriend?” The man inquired
“Hum… yes, I am.” He said, with hesitation. He knew that lying would be the only way to know what was going on with the girl.
“I am very sorry but she lost the child.”
Junsu remained silent.
“Can you tell me if there was any recent fall, stress, trauma… ?”
“She tripped on some stairs the other day, but it was not a big fall.”
“At the first months of a pregnancy even a small fall or some kind of trauma can make the mother have a spontaneous abortion. Adding to that, is her health condition which is not the best at the moment, so even if this did not happen, her pregnancy would still be at risk since she has anaemia and requires to have proper medication and nutrition.” The doctor said “She is going to the room in a few minutes, so you will be able to see her. I am sure you are already aware, but she will need your support after all this.”
Junsu nodded and the doctor walked away, leaving the boy really unsure of what to do next and how he ended up in that situation.
He ended up waiting another half an hour until the nurse tell him that he could see Sung Ri.
He went to the room and as he got inside, he noticed that the girl looked asleep so he just pulled a chair and sat down next to the bed, instinctively holding her hand.
“Sorry for the long wait” She said, surprising Junsu.
“I thought you were asleep. How do you feel?”
She took a deep breathe and looked at her right side, where the boy was “Dizzy and nauseous.”
“It’s normal since you lost a lot of blood. How about the pain?”
“It’s bearable, don’t worry. How about you? Are you okay?” She asked, pointing at his bloodied shirt. “It looks like your wound opened again. You should ask the doctor to see that.”
He smiled “Don’t worry. This blood is not all mine, you know? It’s mostly yours.”
“Leave the shirt there and I’ll wash it for you when I have the time.” She mocked
“ You pervert. You can hardly wait to see me shirtless again…”
“Yeah, that’s my goal in life, no doubt about it.”
“Hey, Sung Ri-ah… about the baby’s father… aren’t you going to tell him what happened?”
“No.” She said “He’s never been worried about it, anyway and he’d probably be happy that this happened.”
“So that is the kind of guys you know? What kind of man would be happy to know that his girlfriend lost his child?”
“He’s not my boyfriend anymore,” she said “and you know what is worse about all this? At the beginning, when I found out and when he left me, I kind of wished that this happened. Now I feel so guilty that I even had those thoughts…”
Junsu regretted immediately the fact that he even mentioned that matter as soon as he saw her expression and heard those words so he tied to quickly dismiss the matter and talk about something else.
“Well, now you need to rest, so I’m going to go outside and let you sleep for awhile, alright?”
“You are not bothering me, really, so can’t you just stay there? I think I’ll sleep better.”
“Alright, I’ll stay. Now sleep, okay?”
The girl nodded her head and closed her eyes while still holding onto Junsu’s hand as he kept sitting on his chair, next to the bed.

Hee Soo got home after Yunho insisted in driving her there since Yoochun would not be going to pick her up that day.
As she got in, she was greeted by one of the maids.
Her father was still in the company of course, and Yoochun’s mother was busy working on the details of her art gallery so the only one who was actually home was Yoochun who was sick.
Hee Soo quickly got up the stairs and rushed to the boy’s bedroom.
“Yoochun-ah? Are you asleep?” She asked as she got near to the bed where the boy was sleeping. However she realized that he was not sleeping after all as he swiftly pulled her arm as soon as she was close enough.
“Welcome home!” He said happily as he hugged her like there was no tomorrow.
“Yah! What are you doing? Let me out!”
“No way” He whined “I’ve been waiting for you the whole day since I was bored out of my mind.”
“Are you really sick?” She asked “You don’t look like it.”
“No? Well, yes I am. Do you want to see me cough?”
She quirked an eyebrow, not believing one word and got her chance to finally get out from her boyfriend’s tight embrace.
“Alright, so I WAS sick but my mother asked for the doctor and the damned man gave me something so strong that probably scared the virus away so tomorrow I’ll have to go to school… I mean, when did medicine started to get THIS strong?”
“Poor you” She said, sarcastically.
“But now that I am not sick anymore and you got home, what are you going to do? Should we watch a movie and lay cosily under the blankets? Yes? I’ll ask someone to make popcorn, okay?” e said, excitedly, as he jumped out of the bed.
“Actually I have an appointment today.” Hee Soo said
“What appointment?”
“I’m going to the re-opening of the botanical gardens.”
“Oh” He voiced “You didn’t tell me.”
“I got the invitation today. Yunho is taking me. You remember Yunho, don’t you? He’s that -”
“I remember” Yoochun interrupted “But why did he ask you? Doesn’t he have a girlfriend to take?
“I don’t think so.”
“Don’t you think it’s weird?” He asked “You’ve known him for like 3 days and now you are going to a party with him?”
She sighed “I knew you would be annoyed.”
“I am not annoyed, I just find it weird.”
“Yoochun,” She started, grabbing his face on her hands “He has no interest in me alright? He asked me because even if we met 3 days ago, we get along really well. I am not interested in him; I am just going out with a friend, okay?”
“If you say so.”
“C’mon, don’t make that face, Yoochun.”
“I am not making a face, really. Just go. I’ll watch the movie by myself.”
Yoochun left the room and Hee Soo went out soon after, sighing.

At the agreed time, Yunho rang the bell and a few seconds later, the buttler opened the door.
“Good evening. May I help you, sir?”
“Good evening. I came to take Miss Han.”
“Certainly. Please, do come inside. The young lady will come down in an instant.”
Yunho was taken to the main living room by the butler who asked him to sit down. Soon after, a cup of warm tea was served.
Looking around the room made Yunho think about the fast pace of his progress. Three days and he was already inside the Han’s mansion. Things were definitely easier than he thought they’d be.
The boy’s thoughts were distracted though by the sound of the living room’s door opening as Han Dae Ro, Hee Soo’s father, came in. Yunho got up immediately from the couch and bowed.
“May I know who you are, boy?”
“Certainly. My name is Choi Yunho. I am Hee Soo’s friend from college.”
“And your purpose here is…?” The man asked
“I will take Hee Soo to the re-opening of the botanical gardens tonight”
“I believe that is a restricted party?”
“Yes, it is restricted to those with exclusive invitations only.”
“I see. May I ask your age, boy?”
“I am twenty-three, sir.”
“Are you living with your family or alone?”
“My family is in Europe, so I live by myself, sir.” Yunho said.
“All of your family is in Europe?”
“My parents” He beamed “I am an only son.”
“And -”
“Dad!” Hee Soo interrupted “He is just a friend from college so can you please stop with the embarrassing questioning?”
“It’s fine by me” Yunho said
“So, did he fare well on your ‘test’ ?” She asked her father
“Of course, dear. You can go now and enjoy the party.”
“Thank you” She said
Yunho bowed again, before leaving the room with the man’s daughter and both of them headed out.
Her father still looked out of the window, spotting Yunho opening the car’s door to let his daughter in and quickly picked his cell phone and called his secretary.
“Yes, it’s me. I need you to find out everything you can about a man named Choi Yunho who is attending the same college as my daughter. I want a full report on my desk tomorrow morning.”

The distance from Hee Soo’s house until their destination would take about twenty minutes by car so both Yunho and Hee Soo took the chance to talk. Although the one doing most of the talk was actually Yunho since Hee Soo was still embarrassed because of her father.
“You look very pretty today.” Yunho complimented
“Thank you. You are pretty elegant yourself. You look quite different.”
“I hope it’s a good kind of different”
“Of course it is. Oh by the way, about my father…”
“Are you still thinking about that? Don’t worry, it’s normal that he wants to know who I am. By the way, how about Yoochun?”
“What about him?” She asked, alarmed
“You said he was sick. Is he better?”
“Oh. Yes, he is better.”
“I am glad. Well, here we are.” He announced, as they had arrived to the party’s location.
The boy opened the door to Hee Soo once again and he gave the car keys to one of the employee’s there, so that he could park it.
After giving the invitation at the entrance, both of them walked in, her arm linked on his.
They listened to the ever so boring opening speech and soon after that and the usual sash cutting, the guests would be finally able to see and walk in the gardens. Yunho and Hee Soo remained at the reception for a long time though since Yunho had told her that since everyone was outside, they’d better wait for a time when there was less of a crowd there.
Meanwhile, as they remained inside, she noticed that almost everyone at the party seemed to want to greet and talk to Yunho. She knew most of those and she was also recognized, of course, but she did not expect that kind of popularity from Yunho.
“Yunho!” A voice called and soon after a very tall young man approached both Yunho and Hee Soo.
“Changmin! I didn’t know you would be here!”
“I would not miss it for the world.”
“By the way, Changmin, let me introduce you.” Yunho said, looking at Hee Soo “This is Han Hee Soo, my friend at college; this is my long time friend, Shim Changmin.”
“Han Hee Soo? From the Multinational Han?”
“Yes” She acknowledged, shyly.
“It’s a pleasure, Miss Han. I did not expect to see two of the biggest heirs in town together here” Changmin said “By the way Yunho, I don’t want to seem rude, but I have something to discuss with you so can I steal you from her for a moment?”
Yunho looked at Hee Soo
“Of course, don’t worry about me!”
“I’ll be right back” Yunho announced.
Both boys stepped away and Hee Soo grabbed a glass of champagne from one of the tables, while thinking about what that Yunho’s friend said early on. She wondered what did he mean about “two of the biggest heirs” and started to connect the dots: the exclusive invitation, the fact that everyone at the party knew him… It kind of made sense to her now that she actually thought about it.
As Hee Soo kept thinking about all those, Yunho and Changmin were talking to each other in a farther corner of the room.
“So, what did you think about my performance?” Changmin asked, smirking
“You should give acting a go, Changmin.”
“I think so too. Well, let’s cut it to the chase now; Here are the documents you needed and you can think me for my hard work because it was not easy to get those.”
“Thank you. You were faster than I expected.”
“Aish… who do you take me for?” The taller asked, slightly offended “Oh and by the way, the old man started investigating you already.”
Yunho smiled, coyly “I expected that he would. He won’t find anything anyway.”
“And thanks to whom? I am still waiting to see what I’ll get for all my work on your fake background. Until now I’ve only seen your friend Jaejoong’s fist on my face!”
“You asked for it, Changmin. You just HAD to talk about Si Yeon! Jaejoong’s problem is not with you, it’s with Heechul; you are actually kind of a decent person when you are not around your brother.” Yunho said, with a smile.
Changmin scoffed and changed the subject “Anyway, your background was safely changed and the only connection they’ll find between you and Enoki will be strictly professional. You know the drill so follow the rules and there won’t be any problem.”
“Yes, sir.” The elder mocked “Thanks kiddo.” He said, before turning back to where Hee Soo was.
Everything was going as planed. Of course that Yunho knew that Dae Ro would investigate his background however there would be no flaws on Yunho’s story.
Being Changmin the genius hacker he was, it was easy for him to take all of Yunho’s real data and change them. Everything from his birth to his family story.
He was no longer Jung Yunho, the man who had no family and had turned into na assassin. Now, he was Choi Yunho, the heir to one of the most promising multinational, a company linked directly to Hashi Enterprises. He was the only son to his rich parents and the successor to the company.
For all the eight months in which the operation was prepared, Yunho was taken to most of the parties where all the influent people would be. Enoki himself would talk about him and “his family” and all the business they held together.
Most of them did not care the least as for who Yunho actually was or who were the Chois but the fact that he was with Enoki was enough to make them regard Yunho as important.
“Sorry I took so long.” Yunho apologised but the girl dismissed the need for apologies. “Do you want to see the gardens now?”
She nodded and both headed outside.
The restructuring was amazing and the gardens were even more beautiful than before. The amplitude of the space was incredible and it seemed like everything was planned to the detail like the lights; the composition and disposition of everything. The only down side at that time is that being an open-space, the cold of the night was quite unpleasant specially for those who were less prepared as it would be Hee Soo’s case.
Noticing that, Yunho quickly took off his jacket ant placed it on her shoulders.
“What are you doing?”
“You are trembling with cold.”
“You’ll be cold too just like that” She said, looking at him only with his shirt and vest on.
“I’m okay. By the way, do you mind me asking you something?”
“Of course not”
“Did you start thinking differently about me after you know a bit more about who I am? I’m referring to this whole thing about knowing all these people, the talk about heirs and multinationals…”
She shook her head “I don’t think of you differently, but I have to say that maybe I see you on a different light now.”
“Well, don’t.” He said “I don’t want you to look at me like that people does. Look at me and think about the Yunho from college and not about Yunho, the rich heir. Can I ask you that?”
The request was kind of unexpected, but she agreed to do so.
“I think you are right; it really IS getting cold. Let’s get out of here.”
“What about the party?” She asked
“I already greeted everyone so I don’t have to put up with them any longer. Aren’t you hungry?”
Both of them left the party and the employee brought Yunho’s car to the entry.
After a quick drive, Yunho parked the vehicle and got out. As he opened the door for Hee Soo, he urged to get out although she did not understand why until she felt dragged out and only stopped in front of a food tent.
“Ahjumma! Can you give us two servings of Ddukbokkie and one serving of Mandu?” Yunho asked, excited, as he was already sitting down and asking Hee Soo to go in also.
“I’m getting some soju, do you know how to drink?” He asked, as soon as the girl sat down.
“Yes…”
“Ahjumma, one bottle of soju, too!”
Hee Soo looked around once more and soon after the ahjumma brought the food which Yunho didn’t waste time to taste.
“Hum.. it’s good. Taste it!” He said, giving her a piece of the spicy rice cake.
“Oh… spicy!” She said, as she downed one shot of soju right after.
“Don’t tell me it’s your first time eating this?” He asked and her lack of response actually was the answer he expected “You really are a little princess, aren’t you?”
“Yah! Aren’t you like me too? Rich and protected.” She blurted
“Only when I need to be. On a daily basis I am a common citizen.”
“Oh… you really are that common?” Shes said, more than asked and got another shot
“Let’s say I am different, or did you fail to notice that? I mean, if not, would I be this interesting? I guess you just have to stay around because I am sure you’ll be in for a surprise” He dared
Yunho’s words reached Hee Soo as truthful actually. Although Yunho was not a common person because after all he was rich and chaebol, he didn’t want to be remembered just like that but as just a guy who attended college and ate Ddukbokkie at a street stand.
Of course he was different. He was so different that he attracted the attention of everyone around him.
He was so different that he made that unreal world where Hee Soo lived look much more real and bearable.
