This post will have nothing to do with her. But when I started typing that is what firefox suggested I write in that box. I thought it sounded good. There ya have it.
It's 11am. I'm still in bed. I wish that meant I had slept in. It doesn't. It just means that I haven't had time to get up and get ready yet and Mark is playing with the kids because it's his day off. The phone has rang 3 times, I've been feeding Elianna for about 3 hours off and on. Everytime I think I might get up she wants to eat again.
So I thought since I'm sitting here anyway I will continue to procrastinate and post. Sound good to you? Good.
I have been buying my diapers at this discount store in town. She is still in newborn size and they have Pampers newborns for 3.49 for 20 of them. Plus my friend works there so she gets me 15% off. Pretty sweet deal. The strange thing is that these particular diapers have this light yellow stripe that goes from the front to the back of the diaper. It turns green when it gets even a little bit wet. It's fantastic because sometimes with tiny babies you can't tell they've peed.
This strip does not exist on any diapers I have purchased elsewhere. It doesn't say on the packaging that the diapers have this stripe and I've never seen it before.
Yesterday, I went online to enter my pampers points (if you don't collect the points can I have yours?). I'm at the Pampers site and I see a link to new "Swaddlers sensitive" with "a wetness indicator to show you when baby may need a change."
I take the product tour and sure enough there is the stripe! (only they say it turns blue).
So I'm thinking that because they are specialized diapers they probably cost more, but I've been getting them for cheaper than normal! I don't know if the Pampers people goofed and put them in the wrong packaging or what, but I'm not telling!
