Physical Description: At 17 years old, he is tall and possesses an average build, or a little better, but still skinny. His muscles are toned rigorous exercise and training due to his weeks in US air force boot camp. Despite his figure, he often slouches, if only to give the impression he was a regular guy. He often is found wearing a red under shirt with a black collard short sleeved shirt mechanic's jacket. His pants are usually cargo style, earthy colors. His once long three foot chestnut braided hair had been cut short into a thick, fuzzy style that sticks up, or over his forehead. His eyes are large and alert, showing of his cobalt blue, almost violet eyes.
Occupation: Flexible Mechanical Engineer/Cadet
Character History and Background: As a child, Duo was raised by a group of homeless children and parentless children, only three besides him in the group, and all boys. They resided in a small house, taking food where they could, especially from nearby markets in the evening hours. They thought their system was flawless, at least, until they got caught and placed in foster care. He rebelled fully, completely distrusting the adults he was now in care of, especially regarding his education. He was sent to boarding school when he was eleven, and soon started taking school a little more seriously, taking an interest in practical skills in science, art and wood shop.
In high school, he became involved with a group of hackers who attended his school. After some minor cyber crimes that he was never caught for, he was suspended from school for hacking into the school’s mainframe for changing his grades. Unable to return to his foster home for another two months, he spent his suspension drifting from house to house, eventually staying with a girlfriend. His time with Hilde was short lived, and they decided their relationship was better off ending, just in time for him to make up credits in summer school. He took his junior and senior year very seriously, if only to show his foster folks and teachers who he really was. He made the honor role every trimester for the following terms.
Upon graduation, he found he was on his own, his foster parents not even attending his graduation ceremony. It wasn’t as though he had a strong connection to them in the first place, so he spent the summer mulling over what he was going to do. He met a middle aged Air Force recruiter and befriended him, but was reluctant to join up. The man was on vacation, so it didn’t really matter to him, until the man invited Duo for a paint ball session. The recruiter observed several untapped skills, including an innate ability to elude the opposing team and find an almost impenetrable vantage point, like a sniper would.
After this particular exercise, Duo agreed to join the next recruitment and joined the ranks of the air force. He has a rocky start in boot camp but over came some of his faults. He was still young and inexperienced, but he had enough skill and luck to make it into a technology/mechanical program in the airforce which was then transferred to Gamma site.
