I don't think they had condoms in Medieval Life.

*ahem* in fact they knew and had, even when they were not supposed to ;) -just the kind of thing one finds out at discussions around a cozy campfire at some ren faire or other- ...mostly made out of pig or sheep intestines, methinks one looked at stuffed sausages and just added one and one together.

Too lazy to translate some of my German articles, so I googled something in English:

As a side note, I can´t for the life of me imagine that Tiberias at least didn´t try to show Godfrey as well some loving of the manly kind, I mean, all the King´s men and that ;)
