It would be nice to see a new media channel that encouraged people to think about why we were attacked instead of stirring up hate and fear and "patriotism". Well, America, let's try to figure out what we are doing wrong and try to see the other guy's point. Instead of pushing the dichotomy of us vs. them, try making people understand there are many layers to the problem. I see such a habit of media using this formula- rep. vs. dem., America vs. the Middle East, patriotism vs. Islam, blah vs. blah. It's like no one remembers there are more than two choices. it bothers me. I often wonder how to make people educated and to make people WANT to be educated instead of just ignorant.

I am thinking in the future of studying globalization and education, and trying to figure out good ways to spread messages and positive education using technology- these are areas I really feel could get into and also have an effect. I am sick of watching everyone in this country walking around like tv robots believing lies and crap just because the liars are actively out there spreading their shite around.

It's really rather unfortunate that people have chosen not to think for themselves and to accept every little bit of information spewed from their televisions as fact. If you ever find a way to help people learn to, well, to want to learn, please let me know. It's one of the saddest and most frustrating things. I wish people wanted to live outside the black and white they are spoon fed.
