Part Two (Still going.)stargatedJuly 28 2008, 06:09:55 UTC
What other fandoms do you participate in?: Harry Potter, Knights of the Old Republic (StarWars), and SGA. Any particular characters/ships?: Revan is a girl, thanks- and I'm pretty big on Revan/Carth (even with his perpetual whining)... Canderous is my favorite character of the series and I can see him with just about anyone. As for HP- I'm stuck with Oliver Wood & Charlie Weasley. Weird, maybe, but I stick to my proverbial Woodchuck. And in SGA I'm a huge Shep fan with a mildly growing appreciation for the whole McShep pairing, though considering his "Kirkness" I can see Shep with just about anyone. I really like the idea of Ronon & Teyla but give me time, I haven't met Dr Keller yet (I just finished watching Sunday (Season 3)) so we'll see how that goes.
Tell us about yourself. What are some of your favorite activities and pastimes outside of fandom?: I'm trying to write my own Sci-Fi book.. I play pool and poker and watch most of my tv and movies on the internet. I love music of all kinds and am currently on a hip-hop kick. This is my first year watching So You Think You Can Dance and I'm a big Katee fan. And um.. yeah. I've had Stargate on the brain way too much recently for anything else. XD Any random facts about yourself we should or shouldn't know?: When I like something I REALLY like it. I enjoy making characters for RPs and not playing them.... I love mixing religion where it doesn't belong (because faith is fascinating and I lack my own)... I'm one of very few people who liked Odyssey 5 and wish it were still on the air.
Last but not least, if you had to choose between Jack's witticism, Sam's technobabble, Daniel's political morale, Teal'c's eyebrow raise/cocked head duo, or any other characteristic of the show, what would it be?: I veto this question. You cannot have one without the others... Okay, so Seasons 9 and 10 have proved that the others can function pretty well without Jack's witticism, but really, it's just not the same. But damnit, if I have to choose it's probably Daniel because I'm an anthropology major who geeks out over cultural beginnings and those deeply moral questions that have developed and broken societies over the years.
