Still no pictures yet, guys. They're on Steven's laptop at my apartment, but I've been so busy the last few days with making the people at the nail place fix my nails, that I haven't had the chance to get them on flickr.
The pictures from the Experience were really cool. They let you take pictures in the museum, so I have pics of things like Data's emotion chip, Spock's 'bathrobe" (burial robe) and the torpedo they shot him into space inside, a lot of costumes from the various movies, Geordi's VISOR, and the Apple computer that Scotty tries to voice-interface with. (Computer?.....Hello, Computer?)
I nearly peed my pants everytime I saw something I recognized. Steven kinda gave me a look everytime I gushed over something, but then, part of why he loves me is because I'm a big nerd.
For example, during the Klingon 'ride,' there's a part where they take us all into the 'turbolift' (=round room where the floor shakes). The Klingons attack and we go into a freefall. After the 'emergency bulkheads' engage, Commander Riker's voice comes on the intercom and asks the Lt if we're all ok. The Lt asked us all how we were and I said, "I think I may need a hypospray." Everyone started cracking up; Steven rolled his eyes. Our Lt played along and told Riker I might need medical assistance.
It was a good time.
I really am a nerd.
