My grandparents have three mugs (there used to be four) and they are beautiful. I have no idea what they are other than drip ceramic stackable mugs. I have found similar mugs (not stackable and without the design) on eBay called Hull mugs. Mine are from Japan, I assume, because that is the word carved into the bottom.
