That is not surprising, I was a defenseman. Defense is not nearly as impressive as an attacker in the game of tennis but it is just as vital. So I'm not offended, besides I know my team was far more worthwhile to watch. And it just means they never remember to watch out for me.

There is a difference to taking "kiss ass" in a literal or a figurative manner.
Though I don't prefer the terminology, I suppose it could be applied here. However, you're mistaking our love for Yukimura as "sucking up." We really do love Yukimura, and we're willing to protect him. That's all this is. ^_^

I'm not sure where he got the part where, if, whoever you date should ever disappear or have an unfortuante accident, this now makes him a prime suspect and is compelling evidence against him.
