Re-application?

Well, I was in this community some time ago. Years ago, actually. But through journal abandonment and neglecting the internet I fear I need apply again. Plus, from what I can see this place needs a little life thrown into it. Here goes.

I think we all need to apply again. This community's been awfully cobwebby of late, no thanks to our too busy with "real life" mods, of course.

But -- but what if we FAIL after applying again?

You know, like if we got splashed with acid and gained 200 pounds and are no longer hot.

I'm not sure I could handle that sort of rejection.

Maybe a wave of "reintroduction" applications that aren't voted on, instead? I certainly don't think we should kick anyone out who has already been accepted, no matter how much acid damage or weight gain has affected them over the years.

The only grounds for rejection of former members I could see is if someone admitted they were now making a hobby of strapping puppies to explosives, or had joined Scientology or something (though now that I've said that, I'm afraid we have Scientologist members who are not going to be happy with me...)
