There is nothing more delicious than a butterscotch sundae. Its enticing flavor, plus the easiness of its preparation, make this sundae one of the premiere deserts. To start, four large scoops of vanilla ice cream should be placed in a bowl. Next, pour butterscotch syrup all over the ice cream. It is imperative that all the ice cream be covered by the sauce. A perfectly ripened banana, split horizontally into ten equal sections, should then be placed on top of the ice cream. To add a finishing touch, place a maraschino cherry on the top of the creation. In the end, a well crafted butterscotch sundae looks as good as it tastes.
