Carla - February Foodie PenPal
I got QUITE the package from Carla this month! She lives in Panama City, Florida and she is Mexican so she sent me her favorite foods from her culture (plus some sweet Valentine's treats)!
She sent me the cutest coasters and a pink margarita glass...she knows me well! I LOVE MARGARITAS!! However, she also sent me V8 and I am a total sucker for all things tomato so as you can see I drank it right away in my special new glass....
I am so excited to try all the other goodies! Right now the weather has warmed up and winter seems like it may be behind us, but I know better. We won't be fully into spring until the end of February (I got my box mid-month) so the soup she sent will come in QUITE handy! I plan to make tacos tomorrow night with the rice and beef crumbles she sent me and for dessert? Banana pudding! It is the first thing I think of when I see Nilla wafers!! YUM!! Can't wait for dinner tomorrow!
