In a rare moment of technical understanding/inclination/having my credit card in my hand while online, I upgraded to a paid account so I could post photos more easily.

Here, mostly for posterity, but perhaps also for your viewing pleasure (particularly if you like badly-framed photographs of the Beds/Bucks region) is a snapshot of my snapshots of 2006.

Our new house. We exchange tomorrow, and hope to move in on 5 August. Warming will follow.

DJ strange_powers at scissorkicks' birthday party.

That London. It only comes in primary colours.

ATP, where biscuits were consumed, and occasionally placed on eyelids. I'm not sure if there was a reason why.

Iceland, formerly Bejam.

Tubewalking - the one where we all rode the route on red elephants.

Chibi, who now lives happily with the old lady next door, and has a sparkly red collar.

Pretending to be Danny Dunn in Willen Park.

While barbecuing courgettes in our back garden one balmy evening, we noticed a fiery apocalypse explode over the top left hand side of our roof.

It turned out to be a balloon.

More balloons, tucked up the T-shirts of my two oldest friends. That's what I'm telling myself, as we're clearly not grown up enough to have children of our own. That'd just be odd.
