Deconstructing Donnie
A couple of weeks ago I wrote about the recently encountered "Ex-gay" ministry Love God's Way, including its rather bemusing lists of gay and safe bands. The email I sent to pastor Donnie Davies in response must have been among the mildest he received; there are times when I think my sense of humour is just too deadpan for its own good.
But as it turns out it may not be nearly as deadpan as Donnie's. He's caused a bit of a stir in the last few weeks and several people felt compelled to dig a little deeper. This is what they had to say.
