Little touches.
BBC Sherlock's Belstaff coat with customised buttonhole detail is making me consider getting something similar done on one of my coats - maybe the navy Aquascutum cashmere? A touch of silver (if I can source the thread in Shanghai) or dove grey, perhaps?
Anyone experienced in sewing who could suggest what weight/type of thread I should use on the buttonhole of a heavy coat?
