Reading
Just finished The Day of the Jackal, and cracked open The Drowned World by J.G. Ballard.
Wearing
Loose dark grey pants, house socks, lilac camisole (Abi and Joseph) layered under a white cotton t-shirt, and a brown and teal fleece jacket from UNIQLO. I'm staying a couple of nights at my parents' house in Qingpu (a suburb of Shanghai). It has in-floor heating on both storeys, which makes my carbon-counting brain freak out a little, but is also luxuriously warm.
Watching
The series 3 finale of Misfits had some huge plot holes and gaping logical gaps, but the tragic ending made emotional sense - and was more or less what I was expecting since last series - so I guess I can't complain. The season 1 finale of Homeland delivered wonderfully, and left me wanting more. And as for Lost Girl: more Lochlyn! More Kenzi!
Shopping
This month I have been positively frugal, considering. I finally bought the Gigolo (70) Rouge G de Guerlain, a deep, dramatic plum that I've been lusting after for months, and a bottle of Lingerie de Peau liquid foundation in 32 (Ambre Clair), since the bottle I have in 03 is too dark now that my tan has faded. I also ordered a black
Project Bag from SSteinDesign, which looks like the perfect everyday bag.
Listening
Mogwai, "Hardcore Will Never Die, But You Will".
