Weather: It is finally, finally Autumn, meaning the hot, humid days here in Shanghai are almost behind us. The number of cool evenings, perfect for alfresco dining, are starting to outnumber the sticky ones.
Watching: Weeds. The latest episode was frantic and awesome.
Perfume: Chanel No. 19, which is sexy and businesslike, or my father's Hermes Terre d'Hermes.
Packing: I will be in Kunming for a few days, starting on the 23rd, after which it will be time to pack a bigger suitcase for my return to Sydney on the 27th. Yay!
Missing: Sydney rock oysters and cheap kebabs.
