Do I need to write the story in which Adam Monroe makes himself even more badass by deliberately depriving himself of one of his senses (sight, hearing) for months at a time just so he can learn how to compensate? He has the patience, the detached curiosity - and he definitely has the time.
Although, the fact that I don't personally know anyone with seeing/hearing difficulties makes me kind of wish I could push the idea onto someone else.
