Finally saw all of Ghostbusters for the first time last night! It was very funny :D The sheer ridiculousness of the plot, the melodramatic romance acting, the almost coy chemistry between Bill Murray, Harold Ramis, and Dan Akroyd... it was all really very good. I was especially impressed by the way they cleverly combined Bill Murray's characteristic deadpan humor with such simple humor, like the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man. (I'm sorry, exploding marshmallows are always funny.)
There's something very classic about the way a bunch of disparate elements came together to make this movie, which is probably the only reason I enjoyed it. Of the five comedies I watched, I think The Odd Couple was my favorite though! Very clever comedy, which is really more my speed.
