101 in 1001 II
So I finally finalized my list (more or less) and set it up and categorized it with cute categories and everything. I used to have it on LJ, but then my paid expired and LJ went to hell so I switched it over to DW. You can find the list here, and I'll probably keep tabs on my progress on that journal (when I remember to post). I'm really going to try to stay focused this time, but really, the likelihood is low. I get distracted easily and my life changes a lot.
I had a whole long thing to talk about once I had finally decided what my goals were and when to start, but now I'm exhausted and don't feel like talking about it. I kind of just hope that this will give me almost 3 years to solidify my life in some respect. Everything about my life is so... up in the air. I've refused stable jobs, stable academics, stable relationships, and opted for jobs that I love but that leave me struggling to make ends meet, an academic field and project that I am so excited about but that I can't be taken seriously in, and relationships that are satisfying but that are ultimately doomed to fail. Even something as small as reading books according to schedule gives me some feeling of control over my life.
And that's kind of nice right now.
