Sorry, I started reading Angry Asian Man again, so today's random post of information is related. In the Eyes of a Self-Proclaimed Tiger Cub (Or, An Open Response to Wesley Yang) at Reappropriate. (I think susurin_tree might have originally linked this.)
Sunday morning I'd offered to help Sarah out if she needed it, plus take the flowers someone had sent her to spare them an early demise in a garbage can. She wasn't ready until almost 2, and I wasn't awake enough until almost 3 to drive over to say good-bye.
Then I woke up again at 6:45 (this time I set the alarm correctly) to pack all my library books in a suitcase :| And drive them to the library. Someone was at work early in the basement of the building I parked next to, and he watched me drag a suitcase out of the back of the car and dump all the books into the book drop.
I had to go back to Lilly a couple hours later because I wasn't sure I could return the 1 Lilly book I had to the Perkins book drop.
Sarah txted me later in the morning to tell me she'd been stranded at RDU because of weather in New York; her parents had made it, but she'd sat on the tarmac for two hours before they de-boarded and rescheduled everyone. I spent the rest of the day cleaning and trying to make sure she was okay with other friends.
Jordan was headed back to Alabama today (Tuesday), so she and Lu asked if I wanted to have dinner at Bull McCabe's. After straightening some things out with Sarah I went to have dinner with incredibly slow service in a not full pub. Random.
Got home around 9:30, Sarah got to my apartment around 10:20 and I promptly put her to bed while I kept watching TV as usual. WTF Hawai'i Five-0. WTF. Missed HIMYM, so I'll have to catch up with that and Chuck tomorrow maybe.
