Most of you have probably seen this passed around all over the Internet, social networking, Facebook, etc. etc. (I'm behind on my informative posting), but: Paper Tigers: What happens to all the Asian-American overachievers when the test-taking ends? I have a number of follow-ups to this, but it's a lengthy article and I don't want to overburden the whole 2 people that pay attention when I post news-type things.

Seriously, my days are incredibly unproductive. This is why I need to go to bed and wake up earlier - nothing gets done after midnight.
Yesterday I cleaned, did laundry, and submitted an internship application. I checked around and unless I can get help from a friend or a nice sublet, housing for the internship alone would cost just over half what I would make. Then there'd be food and transportation in DC, and bills... :/ So if you or someone you know lives in DC and might be willing to take a roommate or a renter for a few weeks this summer, please let me know! I won't know if I've gotten the internship until Wednesday, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed and trying to plan ahead.
Because my life lacks that kind of structure.
I have to finish a job application today so that I feel like I've done something, but I probably won't between Baccalaureate, helping Sarah move, and then going with Jen to Rodney's graduation barbeque in Wake Forest.
I seriously need to put together this stack of books that needs to go back to the library tomorrow :/ GOOD-BYE, MY LOVELIES. I guess if I need them for anything before I turn in my bound copy of my capstone I will just have to go to the library to look at them.
I started sorting all the papers and things I have in my dining room/office area. Good gods. So much Japanese homework. I think there's still some floating around in my car - oh yup, there's some essays in the front seat.
SINCE IT IS NOW AFTER BACCALAUREATE SINCE IT TAKES ME FOREVER TO DO ANYTHING -
Turns out I don't need to help Sarah move today, so I guess I can work on things and keep cleaning before the barbeque tonight! It looks like rain over Durham soon though.
I was supposed to get The Secret of Kells from Netflix on Thursday, but it has not come yet ): I am hoping for today.
It's really warm out, close to 80F plus humidity. Even if it is not sunny tomorrow, it'll still be pretty gross. Also as it turns out the AMES graduation is at the same time as our lunch reservation...
