well there go my wednesdays
After we dispersed from con I met up with Charles and we watched Modern Family in the parking garage. That sounds a lot creepier than it actually was. We then proceeded to the BART station to pick up Jameson for dinner, and ate at a Chinese seafood place. HOLY GODS, WALNUT SHRIMP. Walnut shrimp, some delicious spare ribs, and Peking duck. omnomnom, real Asian food how I have missed you.
WE ALSO WATCHED PART OF THE GIANTS GAME ON TV/Charles's iPhone. Jameson actually left watching the game to come see me ♥
Once the Giants had won, we went back to the BART station and sat in the parking lot watching Modern Family before Jameson's train back to Berkeley got there. Then Charles and I watched more before he took me to the airport a couple hours early.
LOL I GOT PATTED DOWN. IT WAS KIND OF HILARIOUS.
Anyway. I napped in the airport after doing a little bit of work, dead slept through my first flight. I was really annoyed because I had packed intentionally so that I wouldn't have to check luggage, and could just grab my bags and go when I got back to Raleigh. Of course, on the first flight - which WAS NOT FULL - there was no room for my bag. On top of this, not a single person on the plane tried to help me. Granted, it was late (12:30 in the morning), but I was tired, I am short, and people were taking advantage of my attempts to find space for my bag. I was so upset I almost cried as the nice Delta staff checked my bag for me. Also, the only people who couldn't find a spot for their bags on a flight to MINNESOTA were two nice Middle Eastern men and two Asian women.
I slept in Minnesota before sleeping through the flight to Raleigh. I could barely stay awake as I got off the plane and staggered to the bathroom to wash my face and then to grab my suitcase. The whole process of getting back to my car took me until nearly 11:30, and I didn't make it to campus until 12:05. So I was late to Japanese, I didn't do my homework, and I came home and slept until 7PM.
Just in time for television.
I'm still trying to catch up with everything, FML.
