BUT I DON'T WANT TO MOVE FROM MY CHAIR

Apr 11, 2010 16:50

Yesterday I was... almost late for work. I seriously have no idea how I missed my alarm, but I did, by several hours. I wasn't horribly late, maybe a couple minutes, but I didn't eat or shower or anything ewwww. After work I printed my readings at Lilly, then came back home to shower and sit around on the phone with my brother watching KPop videos on YouTube.

I also took a load of laundry to the laundromat, because our washing machine is still broken. I am displeased at it taking $2 to wash my delicates, which I wouldn't have washed at all had I not needed a clean bra for this coming week.

Over leftovers from Outback I watched The Proposal, which was surprisingly entertaining. I enjoyed it, at least, even though I'm still not sure how I feel about the story. Sandra Bullock was quite good, I thought, and Ryan Reynolds was... idk, cute. I WANT THAT DOG, DAMMIT. And I love the grandmother, she makes me so happy inside.

I then spent the rest of the night doing... I have no idea, I'm so tired right now, hahaha. I think I tried to clean because I'm still grossed out about killing the roach, I tried to take care of some tags, but NCIS was on... and then I passed out on my bed even though I was going to sleep on the couch and left the TV on.

To be perfectly honest, I cannot remember what happened on Tuesday. We had our debate thing in Japanese, which turned out quite awkwardly, because... well, we are awkward, and answering questions takes a long time >.> Then we went to pop culture, where I wore my new cat ears because they make Jordan happy, lmao. I'm still surprised that Professor Ching didn't say anything, even when I was talking to him after class about the group projects. Jordan, Yao, and I all dozed off in class at some point due to sheer exhaustion. Also, a good chunk of the class didn't show up because they were at the Welcome Back party at Cameron, which Yao wouldn't skip class to go to.

There was general exhaustion after class, so we all parted ways and I went home for a nap, and was called when Yao was done with her rescheduled class. It was pretty late, so we ended up at Sushi Love shortly before they closed the kitchen. The sushi was delicious - and Jordan ordered the wasabi roll, which was absolutely coated in wasabi, and so we all took turns dying as we ate it.

Yesterday I remembered to register for classes before leaving Lilly... so I'm currently enrolled in Theories of Consumer Culture with Professor Yoda, who is actually returning to Duke for the year! We think/hope :3 and Professor Rojas's Chinese Prostitution class. My third class will be Japanese, but I have to make sure that I pass my placement exams at the end of the summer before I enroll. Oh gods what if I fail D:

*whine groan whine* I'm going to go find some food now.

homework can go diaf, japanese, music, go blue devils, grad school, rp, work, internets, movies, school, real life, television
