It's a winding road

It's been a long day. Woke up at 6, left the house around 7, got to the testing center at 7:45. Took the test and was done by 11. The scores are good, but I hate test scores and don't feel totally comfortable unless they're perfect. Which mine are not. Damn.

Drove back to the studio and hooked up with Mary eventually. We went to her car dealer first, then to Sinbala for lunch. It was largely an opportunity to vent about the problems in our lives. Which I may or may not do shortly on LJ.

After lunch we stopped by the bakery (again) to buy cake for dessert! Stopped by Mary's house so she could grab my manga and print from con, then took her back to the dealer to get her car. I made a stop by my eyeglass place so I could get them adjusted. Went back to the studio and fell asleep after talking to ghostly_watcher for a little bit ):

The family went out to dinner at Tokyo Lobby and to talk politics. Hahaha. My brother is hilarious sometimes. After dinner, at which I ate way more than I thought would be possible, Susan and I argued and flipped coins and such until we (I) decided she should drive out to Arcadia for dessert. We went to Fruit Island and sat watching the ABC Sportscenter show and then the SNL Presidential Bash.

And then I came back to Claremont, where I tried to relax. I did a little bit of writing, hung out in the chatrooms and took part in a couple of word wars. I'm... less behind than I was before? I think I'm going to be behind until the end of November.

I was really looking forward to January. Now there's just this vague ill-feeling in my stomach when I think about it. I'm going to go crawl under the covers and maybe cry some more.

Fuck, I hate myself sometimes.
