So I sign on WoW before I go to bed, so I can get the newest patch. The downloader gets 83% done downloading the patch and stops. Ten minutes later, I am told I am behind a firewall.
First off, it downloaded 83% before it decided this?!?!? Even if I DID have a firewall up, I am not at all happy with how it is working if a file can download 83% of the way before it stops it.
Second, I do not have a firewall up. Nowhere on this network is a firewall.
So I try downloading from a mirror. That fails miserably.
So I cancel, and try again. Second attempt has been sitting there at 83% for twenty minutes now. This time it realized that I was in no way going to fall for the firewall excuse, so t isn't bothering to give me one at all. It's just sitting there.
EDIT: So of course, as soon as I e-mail Blizzard Tech support and yell at my boyfriend over the phone, the Downloader gives me the Firewall message again, only this time it just goes ahead and downloads it.
putar,
wow
