I made my way through the hallways of Wolfram & Hart and came to what almost looked like Angel's old office, only it was different. This must be Eve's office. I started to look around, trying to find something that would explain what had happened to L.A. Everything here was well organized. There was and intersting looking object on the wall, a peculiar looking weapon of some kind. I then came upon what looked like some type of storage device...a filing cabinet is what I picked up from the shell's memories.
Nothing of importance here.
I also noticed some scattered papers on a desk. I started to leaf through it, trying to make some sense of what I was looking at. Then I found an empty video box with the words 'BLOCKBUSTER' written on it and some type of note on a small yellow squared piece of paper on a computer keyboard...
Scoobies - Hyatt Regional
This must be where Angel's friends are staying...
It was at that moment that another pesky nuisance of a laywer came in asking me questions.
"Hi Eve. I've been looking for you. I guess I should have checked your office first. I just need your signature on these documents..."
I gave him a puzzled look. "What are these for?"
"Well you know, we just need you to okay the Zimbabwe file. Umm, you know...mass murer, good priestesses from Zimbabwe. Ahh, perhaps you didn't have time to read the memo."
I cocked my head. I did not care for these annoyances. What were these humans to me? They were nothing to me. I signed the file and went on doing what I was doing before. I could still feel the lawyer lingering.
"Was there anything else?" I simply said.
"Well. No. Did you loose some paperwork?"
Another eager human. "Does it look like I need help? This is my office, now get out."
And with that he was out the door. I was growing tired of this plae. I decided I had gathered all the information I required. I needed to get out. I walked out of the office and made my way to the front doors of Wolfram & Hart. Once I was out, I wanted to rid myself of this ridiculous image. As I walked past an alley, I let my form swathe over me. But at that moment, I remembered that this form would not do. I needed to guise myself in the shell's form so I wouldn't attract any attention to myself. Closing my eyes, my great form melted away, replaced by that of the shell. Soft fragile pale skin and long dark hair. Yes...this will do.
