Well somehow it's become Sunday bedtime and I've still got work to do. That's not fair, is it? I made a lot of progress on Attack of the War-Cats this weekend and I'm trying to be satisfied with that, but it's a little hard 'cos I was hoping to be completely finished at this point. I had to throw in the towel at about 9:00 this evening because I was erasing and re-drawing the same thing over and over and just not getting anywhere. Fortunately the item I was stuck on was the last piece of bonus art needed, and so when I can get back to that with a little more energy, that will be everything at least pencilled. The covers and frontispiece are inked and the covers still need coloring, but then I will be done. So it'll definitely happen sometime this week.
At this stage, I would guess that AotWC will be ready by Confuzzled, but No Predation Allowed probably will not, alas! Still, I've got the layout problems taken care of, at least (it'll use the same format at AotWC), so there's nothing between No Predation and AnthroCon but my own willingness to succeed.
Also watched Rango again today: it's just as awesome the second time around. I managed to catch some of the dialog that I missed last time as well, such as Hunter Thompson's single rather WTF line, "There's another one!" Um ... how often do you see ... uh ... one of those ... dude?
Anyway, it's back to the bit mines tomorrow, and then new update night in LotRO. This is probably the first time I feel like my character is primed and ready to go for the new content; Maedhroc at least has pretty high-end gear and capped virtues, so he can jump right in to what's current instead of poking along behind everyone else and needing to beg for help. Galadhalion isn't quite up to the same level, but he has at least finished all of the story content up to the new update and so he'll probably jump more-or-less into getting the new gear instead of trying to catch up with the older stuff.
I'll probably also have another book to review sometime in the next few days ... so it should be a busy week ahead! I'd better get some sleep. ;)
So good night, everybody, and have an awesome tomorrow!
