Work? Who needs it?

As some of you will know I had some unplanned time off a few weeks ago. This gave me some space to think and what I mostly thought is "why am I spending so much time in a job I really don't like?". Rather fortuitously I also sold my old flat at the same time. So, rather than sticking to the original plan and pouring all of the equity from the old ( Read more... )

I'm not sure how I'll adjust to being a lady of leisure. I hope I'll find enough to keep me busy.

give it time and you'll wonder how you ever found time to go to work.
i think you've done a brave thing to drop out of the rat race, like you've said, you can always go back if you need to, hopefully you'll find something you're passionate about to do before then.

Not as scary as you might think. The thought of staying on a course that was leading me in the wrong direction was much more frightening.

It was definately a "slowly then suddenly" decision. It's been at the back of my mind for a long time. I am just incredibly lucky to be in a position to take this option.
