My yearly something something...

If you are looking for a great charity, I once again bring up:

http://www.childsplaycharity.org/

I don't work for them or anything. But I do love the set up- you click the hospital closest to you (Women and Children's Hospital in the case of Buffalo), and it pulls up an Amazon wishlist.

Buy from their cart and it gets sent directly to your hospital. No diversion of funds- goods delivered directly, Amazon doing the shipping. Little red tape on your side, right?

As I've said before- would you rather that a kid that's stuck in the hospital during the holiday season be bored out of his mind watching hour five of the Weather Channel from his bed...or would you rather they have Lego Batman? There are some other toys and books on their wishlists- particularly for the babies, so it doesn't have to be *strictly* about the games.

I know this time of year people are more strapped (hell, I am not employed), but being one of those "there are folks in this world that will make you feel lucky by comparison" kinds, a $10 book or $20 game- we can each do that, right?
