1. Elaborate on your default icon. It's Kamui, from the X/1999 series, but from a cute picture which is mostly irrelevant to the actual series.
2. What's your current relationship status? I'm on haitus.
3. Ever have a near-death experience? The most recent one I can recall involved an 18-wheeler that was nearing my car much faster than either of us would have liked, and nearly went through it like a hot knife through butter. The driver got out of his vehicle, ran over to my car, and yelled at me at the red light.
4. Name an obvious quality you have. I eat very slowly.
5. What's the name of the song that's stuck in your head right now? Nothing now, but "In Our Bedroom After The War," by Stars for most of yesterday.
6. Name a celebrity you would marry. What a rubbish question. I have no intention of marrying anyone at the present. I think the shag list would be significantly longer, however.
7. Who will cut and paste this first? Hmm... who reads my journal, occasionally succumbs to these sorts of memes, and is probably having a boring (or nonexistent in my case) Christmas? I would guess that person.
8. Has anyone ever said you look like a celebrity? Not lately. I used to get Macaulay Culkin in middle school and early high school, but that later moved on to "Harry Potter" (not necessarily Daniel Radcliffe).
9. Do you wear a watch? What kind? I rarely wear them. I keep a cell phone in my pocket (so classy), but also own a pocket watch (classy, but not sarcastic this time).
10. Do you have anything pierced? I do not.
11. Do you have any tattoos? While I'm in no hurry, rumor has it this would preclude me from being buried in certain places.
12. Do you like pain? No; that would be silly. And anyway, I would classify that as 'pleasure.'
13. Do you like to shop? I like pretty outfits, but I do not like the amounts being charged for them.
14. What was the last thing you paid for with cash? Yesterday's breakfast: a bagel w/ lox and a chai latte. In my defense, I haven't been this pretentious in a while.
15. What was the last thing you paid for with your credit card? Shaving gel, a razor, and a box of Mike&Ike's.
16. Who was the last person you spoke to on the phone? That woman with the one-bedroom apartment located very inconveniently within a three-bedroom apartment. (Also, I need to read all of an ad and not just skim the subject)

18. What is the background on your cell phone? It's like this rock-bridge. If you imagine a roughly 2-2.5 meter wide length of large rocks with water on either side stretching out into the horizon, then you've got it.

20. Do you know any twins? I have met many, but I do not keep active correspondence with any.
21. Do you have any weird relatives? All of us, but only when compared to people outside the family.
22. What was the last movie you watched? Capitalism: A Love Story. In my defense, I was living with liberal hippie-tpyes who invited me to the movies. I don't particularly enjoy inflammatory political film regardless of which side it attacks. It's just tacky, and I don't like my sources of entertainment inspiring anger.
23. If you had $100 to spare, who would you give it to? You mean I can't keep it? That's anywhere between 1/3 of a winter garment or a whole chilly spring/warm autumn one.
24. What was your favourite book as a child? "The Westing Game," and later "Cyrano de Bergerac." My favorite children's book is "The Little Prince," but I only read that one a few years ago.
