Update: Car go zoom, yes?
Soooooooooo, now we have two cars on offer.
Car A: 1989 Honda, 250,000 miles. Free and clear. Rusted body. Needs brake harness.
Car B: 1992 Toyota, 125,000 miles. $200, cracked windshield, has hose that wants fixin'.
We went with the Toyota, 'cause none of us could figure out what a brake harness was, but we kinda knew what the other stuff was.
The friend who offered the car is going to pay for the $200 as her gift, and we'll take care of the rest. Or as much of the rest as $150 will do.
Still, pretty damn close to free, yes?
And their bad car karma needs to end sometime, also yes?
Keep your fingers crossed for the inspection. They should have this car by tonight.
