Denied by a friend...

I've never really thought of Mormonism as a cult before, just more of like a false deviant from Christianity. But today a friend told me she couldnt talk to me anymore "because I don't understand the truth." Isn't that what cults do? Hey,

I've been trying to help out your friend Ely, and I'm sorry for what she's done for you. Thank you for your witness to her, and God will bless you for it.

I know it's hard when a friend rejects you and it's harder when it's because of religion, but I think you should just pray for her. It's what I've been doing. Anyway, I'll keep you in my prayers too, and continue to fight the good fight :)

*hugs*

I want to challenge you and your new found Mormon faith. Pretend to abandon it and see what happens. They will stalk you, they will yell at you, and then will not show you the love of Elohim. Come back to the one true Yahweh and do not base your faith on emotions and feelings. Base it on factual information and scripture. The book of mormon does not coincide with the book containing the Old and New Testament. I love you in Christ and I am praying for you.

Sorry for the confusion, but in any case, I think you understand that there are a number of concerned people that are praying for you. I would encourage you to follow rageofangels advice and see what happens when you try to let go of this newfound faith for a bit.

Anyway, you're in my prayers.
