Denied by a friend...
I've never really thought of Mormonism as a cult before, just more of like a false deviant from Christianity. But today a friend told me she couldnt talk to me anymore "because I don't understand the truth." Isn't that what cults do? Try to cut you off from those who care about you so that you can only depend on them and their instructions and acceptance.
Why were you so worried about me denying you, but now you deny me to my face? It seems so wierd to me that she would accept the teachings of a total stranger, but when her friend and someone she knows she can trust will try to read to her from God's own word she closes her ears and runs away. That hurts, but I know I'm not the one being rejected.
Just know this: that no matter what happens, I am here for you, I will always be here for you.
