micheleeeex Chap1 Chap2 Chap3 "Nice house. It's a shame you have to sell it." David remarked, taking a seat on the couch in Michael's living room.
"Yeah, I know. I just can't afford it on my own though." Michael shrugged, a look of sadness apparent in his eyes, as he took a seat next to David. "I found some nice potential apartments though, if I could just get this sold." There was an awkward silence for a moment, neither man knowing what quite to say in this situation. Michael decided it was best to just lay it all out there. David seemed like the kind of guy who appreciated that sort of thing. "So by now you've probably figured out why my marriage didn't exactly work out."
"I could venture a guess."
"I loved her, I did. In my own way. I just couldn't keep pretending, you know?"
"Hmm...yeah." David nodded matter of factly.
"I feel like there's a lot going on behind that 'yeah.' "
David tried to shrug it off. "You don't wanna hear all my stories."
"I wouldn't be here offering to listen if I didn't."
David looked up into Michael's eyes for the first time since they'd gotten there. One side of his lips turned up before he spoke. "I had this girlfriend... a few years ago. We were together for a little over two years actually. She knew I was into guys too, it never really seemed to bother her. And... I never cheated on her, ever. But um... well, some stuff happened between us. I won't get into the details of it..." Yeah, because you having a daughter you're raising on your own isn't exactly important information, is it asshole? David mentally scolded himself. "But, anyway, I think it made us both stop and think about things. If this was the person we wanted to spend the rest of our lives with. We kept going for awhile but... she decided she wasn't up for it eventually. Just left." David started absentmindedly playing with a string on his jeans. "But that's all in the past. My life's changed a lot since then."
"Yeah..." Michael nodded, not really knowing what to say. So, instead he just did the only thing he could think of. Leaning over, he brought David's face up, fingers beneath his chin, and brought their lips together gently. David responded readily, opening his lips to let Micheal's tongue slide in. It had been so long since he'd been kissed lihe this, like someone truly wanted him. David's hand came up to tangle in Michael's hair, trying to bring him even closer, if that was possible.
They finally broke apart, in need of air. David looked up into Michael's eyes, seeing them darken with desire as he looked into them. He wanted this so bad. He needed this. "You...you have a bed?"
Michael chuckled softly. "Yeah, I have a bed."
David blushed a bit, realizing how stupid that question sounded. "Can I see?" Michael didn't say a word, just got up from the couch and held his hand out for David to take, leading them down the hallway and into the master bedroom. As soon as they made it through the door, Michael pushed David up against the wall, their lips crashing together once again. Michael mind was racing was he felt David's hands slide beneath the fabric of his shirt. He'd just met this man last night, but he was sure he'd never wanted anyone more in his life. Suddenly both their shirts were on the floor beside them, lips and tongues exploring necks and collarbones. Michael grinded his hips forward, feeling a hardness that matched his own and causing David to let out a low groan. He let his eyes and fingers run over the tattoo on David's chest, continuing their journey southward until they landed on waistband of his jeans. Michael began kissing David again as he quickly undid David's jeans, pushing them and his boxers to the floor in one swift motion, allowing his erection to spring free and hit Michael's still clothed one..
"Fuck, you're beautiful." Michael breathed out.
Practically all of David's skin turned a bright shade of pink at the statement. He kicked his pants away and turned the two of them around, tugging Michael towards the bed and working on his pants on the way. By the time they reached the bed they were both naked, Michael falling on top of David, their erections grinding against each other, their bodies perfectly molded together. Michael grinded his hips into David's one more time before reaching down and taking both their cocks in his hand.
"Fuck." David gasped as his back arched at the sensation. His arms wrapped around the back of Michael's neck, drawing him down closer. "I can't remember the last time I felt this fucking good." David whispered against Michael's lips.
"Me neither." Michael whispered back with a smirk before pressing his lips to David's in a deep, raw, needy kiss. He continued stroking the two of them together, picking up his pace as he went along. He couldn't think of anything he wanted more in this world than to see this gorgeous man come undone beneath him.
David reached his hand down as well, wrapping it around Michael's, encouraging him to stroke them both even harder. Michael complied, jerking his hand roughly over the both of them. He was close and he could tell David was too from the way his eyes were starting to roll back into his head. "Cum for me Dave. Fuck! Cum with me."
David moaned at the words, quickly feeling his orgasm crash through him like a tidal wave. He dug his fingers into Michael's back, a stream of 'fuck's and 'Michael's coming from his mouth. Michael followed right behind him, continuing to jerk them both erratically as he came. Creamy white liquid covered both their hands and stomachs as Michael collapsed next to David on the bed. They both took a moment to catch their breathes before Michael made a quick run to the bathroom, returning with a warm washcloth and cleaning them both up.
They kissed lazily, their tongues seeming to dance together in perfect harmony, David's fingers finding their way back to Michael's hair. He had such soft hair. David had already decided he loved it. David broke away, nuzzling his face into the crook of Michael's neck. "Mmm, that was..." David searched for a word to describe what he was feeling but couldn't seem to find one. He was usually good with words, his friends even teasing him about it. But this guy, this guy he'd just met the night before, something about him made his head spin, in a good way.
"Yeah. Yeah, it was." Michael knew what he meant, even without the words. He ran his fingertips along David's back, just enjoying the feel of the warm skin next to his own.
"What time is it?" David asked, his mind still hazy from the pleasure he'd just experienced.
Michael turned to look over at the clock on his nightstand. "Quarter after three."
"Oh shit!" David sat up. He'd promised Carly he'd be back to get Jane by three.
"What? What's wrong?" Michael asked, a confused expression on his face.
"I was supposed to be somewhere fifteen minutes ago." David rushed around the room, trying to get his clothes on. Michael just nodded. David noticed the way Michael was looking at him. He didn't want him to get the wrong idea. He threw the t-shirt he had in his hand onto the bed and walked over to Michael, taking his face between his hands. "Listen, I don't regret anything that just happened. I don't want to go, but I have to. But I really, really want to see you again. So, call me? Please." A small smile spread across Michael's face as he nodded, as best he could with David's hands still on his cheeks. "Good. I'll talk to you later." David leaned down, pressing a gentle kiss to Michael's lips. He threw his t-shirt on and headed for the door, turning around to look at Michael one more time. "Oh and... thank you... for everything."
~*~
"There you are."
"Hey, I'm so sorry I'm late! I..um...well I lost track of time." David walked through Carly's front door, a blush spreading across his cheeks as his mind wandered back to his afternoon activities.
"Oh really?" Carly giggled. She'd known David for as long as she could remember, and from the look on his face something interesting had gone down on this non-date of his. "It's fine. Jane fell asleep about a half hour ago. Which means...you have time to come in here and fill me in on all the gory details." She pulled on his arm, dragging him down on to the couch with her. "Alright, start with what he looks like, then continue as you see fit."
David rolled his eyes at his friend. He knew he could trust Carly, and he was kind of dying to talk about it. "Alright, well...he's tall, brown eyes, really soft brown hair." Carly shot him a look, her eyebrow raised. David decided to ignore it and continue. "He's...Australian."
"Oooh nice!" Carly wiggled her eyebrows up and down. "And...how is he in bed?"
"WHAT?"
"Oh come on! I know that look David! Not to mention the back of your hair is all smushed down."
David's hand instinctively shot up to smooth his hair out, eliciting a giggle from Carly. "He's...quite good, thank you. But that's really none of your business."
"Alright, alright. Anything else I need to know?"
"Well, he's really funny, and sweet...and, um..." David coughed something undecipherable into his hand.
"What?"
"He's...still married." David braced himself for the onslaught.
"HE'S WHAT? Dave...are you crazy? What are you getting yourself into? You know you don't only have yourself to think about in this."
"I know, I know. He's in the middle of a divorce. He finally admitted to himself that he was gay and decided to leave her. And I probably shouldn't be telling you all this. This stays with us...understand?"
"Yeah of course Dave. I'm just worried about you, that's all...and Jane. I mean, it sounds like he's going through a pretty major time in his life. Do you really wanna get tangled up in it? I mean, what does he even think about Jane?"
David looked down, at the ground, his shoes, anything but Carly. "I...I haven't told him about her yet."
"Oh my god! David!" Carly's hand came up to her forehead, completely exasperated with her friend.
"I will! I'm going to. Things just...happened really fast and it wasn't the right time. Everything will be okay though." David tried to convince himself as much as Carly. "I...I know I just met him, but I really like him. There's just...a connection. I can't just ignore that. I'll be careful. I promise."
"Alright." Carly shrugged. "I trust you. I just don't want you to get hurt, okay?"
David smiled at how much his best friend cared for him and his daughter. He nodded, leaning over to hug her tightly. "Thanks Tater."
"Don't mention it, Sugarfoot."
