We are under a winter storm warning today. It means that unless there is an emergency, I won't be leaving the apartment. I have no interest in being driving in the snow if I don't have to be. We had about 10 cm last night, and another 30-50 cm is forecast for tonight.

I'm taking he opportunity to work on my james Bond Marathon. I'm up to Timothy Dalton, and so far not a fan of him. He is a very poor Bond, too young for the character they have him playing. At this rate I'll make it to Skyfall in another month. It is sitting on the coffee table in front of me.

My sweater continues. I'm on the 6th ball of the same dyelot. The other 10 will be another dyelot, because of this, I am trying to make the break in colour as symmetrical as possible. This means that I have 3/4 of the left front made, and I have to cast on the right. I'm running out of needles in the right size. I have a kit of lace tip addi clicks, but I also have about 4 different knitting projects on the go at the moment. Before I started the right front, I wrapped up (and freed up) a few of the cords. I didn't need the tips, rather the short cords that are less likely to tangle/piss me off. I'm hoping that the new wool will show up on Monday, so I can finish up the left front. On to the modified right front. It looks so much better than the one that the pattern author suggested.
