(no subject)
Aside from some school red tape my summer is going okay. I'm taking Russian History now.
Yesterday, I went cheese shopping with Hideto. We had a cheese party in the lounge with some other people. I have shown him the world of cheese~~(well, at least the milder kinds...baby steps..) Good times. There was smoked cheddar, Port Salut, White Stilton with blueberries in it, Crottin de Champcol (kind of French goat cheese) and then some Texas goat cheese. Good times were had by all. Everything but the Crottin de Champcol were well received.
Afterwards, we watched the Avatar Finale! It was reaaaally good. There were a couple of things that I was slightly disappointed with, but overall it was a very good ending for the series. I'm not going to say much else because I think only 2 people on my f-list have seen it so far.
Today, I went swimming with Kai, Craig, Poppy, Natasha, and Holly. My eyes still have that weird, too-much-chlorine feeling. It was fun. except for the part where I got hit in the face with a volleyball...
Then we went to Chango's (a burrito place). The burritos were just okay..but the chips and salsa were better than decent.
We took a bus packed with the creepiest people I've experienced in a long time back to campus. There was this one guy who kept tickling the woman across from him and making weird noises. She kept waving him off and turning away from him, obviously not liking it at all. Ohmygodcreepy. I really hope she at least knew the guy, because if she didn't that makes the situation 10 billion times creepier. She should have screamed or something. And then the guy turned to me and he just stared. It took a *lot* of willpower to not get up with a "FUCK IT YOU GUYS. I AM GETTING OFF THIS BUS RIGHT NOW." and throw myself out the window.
It would have been so much better to walk. It was't even all that far!! We were on the 1 heading back to campus from a restaurant that's right across the street from Mangia. Unless it's an unwalkable distance I am never riding the bus. I don't know why the people I was with insisted on taking the bus anyway. It was nighttime and it was cool!!

I started reading stuff by Banri Hidaka. I relly like what I've read so far of V.B. Rose but I don't really have an opinion yet of Tears of lamb. So far the characters just have this superficial depth...I don't really feel for them because they seem so fake. I need to finish the 2nd volume at least before I can form an opinion. I should read Hate You More Than Anyone too.
