I made things you can buy!

Greetings! I finally make a public post on this thing and it's to sell you something! Hooray capitalism!

Anyhow, as you may or may not know, I have spent the last year and a half or so crocheting myself into a cocoon, and I'd like to try to get a little bit of my yarn investment back. So! I'm doing a test run of sorts for anyone who's going to be at San Diego Comic Con this year. I have the following Marvel inspired items to sell.

(If you're not going to SDCC but are still interested, read on.*)

As you can see, I'm selling items with Marvel superhero patches on them. The patches, which can be bought individually, are 3" in diameter and made of acrylic yarn with felt decorations. The ones I'm currently offering are Winter Soldier, Iron Man (triangle), Hawkeye, Deadpool, Black Widow, Captain America, and Iron Man (circle).

These are wristbands. They're pretty large because the patches necessitate it, but you can send me your wrist measurement if you like and I can customize it. I've only shown Winter Soldier and Hawkeye ones here, but I can do wristbands for any of them.

Here we see an Iron Man (triangle) cup cozy. Again, you can have your favorite superhero on your favorite brew! (Provided your favorite superhero is one of the seven listed above.)

These phone covers are sized for an iPhone 6, but just let me know the type of phone you have -- or at least its measurements -- and it can have all the protection acrylic can provide! If you want, I can make it large enough to contain your phone with your hardback case already on it, to prevent scratches and dents on your coveted phone case.

Since I'll be making these to order, they are entirely customizable. Want a Deadpool patch on a pretty pink wristband? It's all yours. Have an oddly-sized cup that needs cozy-ing? I've got you covered. Say, is your OTP represented here and you want a phone cover with TWO patches? Your wish is my command... Within the limits of what can be reasonably crocheted in a month.

So here's how I see this working: if you're interested and able to meet me at some point during the five days of SDCC to exchange money for goods (but not services; that's a different post entirely), comment or DM me here or on Twitter with your email address and desired item(s) so that we may communicate. I can only accept cash and the prices are as follows:

Patch only -- $2 each, 3 for $5, or the whole set of 7 for $10
Cup cozy -- $7
Wristband -- $10
Phone cover -- $15
Add a second patch to any of these for just $2 more! You can have all the patches you want, but I don't think more than 2 will fit on them.

*"Oh no," you cry. "I am desperate for one of these beautiful handmade items, but I will not be in San Diego from July 20-24!" Worry not! This is just a test run -- I am hoping to sell these on Etsy, but I want to see how this goes first, as far as demand and timing and supplies needed. But if you would seriously be interested in purchasing one of these, please comment or tweet to let me know. If there's demand, I'll supply!

BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE(ish)! Don't see your favorite superhero represented? Have an OT3-or-more that demands larger items to accommodate more patches? Have an idea for a crochet-able item that should obviously have a patch on it? PLEASE LET ME KNOW! Again, demand dictates supply, and I will make another honest go at trying to make the S.H.I.E.L.D. logo out of felt. But only if you really, really want me to, because that thing is a bitch and a half.

I can even make a stab at DC logos, but I'll be honest, I'm not sure I have the patience to cut a bunch of Superman S's out of three colors of felt unless there is a truly monumental demand for it.

Thanks, and order soon! I don't have a cap at the moment, but if I need to close orders, I'll put a header at the beginning of this post.
