LOL! I hadn't thought of it from that point of view. I've been teaching Ethics to Freshers this term and we had a seminar with lots of examples that are designed to be difficult and testing for certain ethical theories. In order to be so they are quite contrived, though. For instance, the one about the Fat Man In The Cave - guy gets stuck in the mouth of a cave, blocking the exit for all the people behind him and the tide is rising and if they don't act quickly the people stuck behind him will drown. Fortunately (?) someone brought a stick of dynamite along (just for the hell of it). They could use it to blow the fat man up, saving the 19 other people - but should they
