Now the Time Has Come to Leave You; One More Time ...
Well, Fuckburgers! The votes are in and I was eliminated in this week's contestant only therealljidol vote.
I'm not bitter but I do wish I had taken the bye as I was wont to do. But, inspiration called and I wrote. Plus, "bye"s didn't exist the last time I competed and I intended to not use one at all this time if at all possible (and happily, I did not).
What really hurts is that I honestly felt that my last entry was one of my better essays as well as one of the few that actually represented the idea of the topic. At least if I'm going out, I feel proud about my efforts each time.
I'm not sure if I will be playing the home game. GenCon & IndyFringe are about to occur and that's a very busy time for me.
I will do what I can to post here as often as possible. I would like to work on it more as I have little documentation of what happens in my life these days and I would like to have more of a journal of my life again. Plus, I need to rant occasionally and the only reason I haven't thus far was that I was saving them for possible therealljidol topics.
Also, if I had posted more often I would have had a better friends list and could possibly have survived a bit longer in the game. I was always scraping the edge of the votes as was the case in my first attempt.
So, hopefully, all of you who are reading my musings will stay around and enjoy my future offerings.
