(no subject)
Sorry I haven't posted in a while. I got out of practice and haven't really had much to say besides the numerous rants about how much my job sucks.
Well, in case you're wondering, my job still sucks. M is still a bitch and has actually become more of a bitch lately. She's so convinced I'm stupid that she insists everything I do is wrong. Yesterday she made me do some bullshit copying and when I was done she was yelling that I had done it wrong. Today she demanded that I give her all the paperwork so she could show me what I did wrong. She later handed it back for me to file because I had actually done it correctly in the first place. I wanted to say, "In your face bitch!", but of course, I didn't. I'm just hanging on for a few more weeks and then the assignment will be over. Believe me, it will be none too soon.
In other news, I currently have no water at my place because my landlord didn't pay the water bill & it got shut off. This is just one more thing that makes me really want to move away from this place. It's bad enough that his revolving door of sketchy tail stomps around upstairs like petulant teenagers and make it sound like someone's breaking down the ceiling or trying to break through the walls & back door. I'm really hoping to get a decent job after this assignment is done and then we can move into a decent place when we don't have to deal with this sort of shit all the time.
I have managed to secure a friend's shower facilities tomorrow if needed (thanks veronica_rich) so that beldar & I can make it to work (they know about the situation at my work & I'm going in for just a half-day).
Beyond this, my life is going well on the whole. We've been seeing a lot of great theater lately and I will try to post about some of the shows this weekend if I can. One of the shows has even made work a bit awkward in that one of the warehouse guys looks an awful lot like one of the guys in "Naked Boys Singing".
Anyway, that's what's been going on with me. I hope all of you out there are doing well and I hope to talk with you more in the future.
