Today was a bitch and a half at work. The computers kept breaking down and I had a hell of a time getting anything done. Plus, I had to be trained on AP by M (the more senior person in the accounting department) who's Indian accent and forceful delivery of every word was grating enough to give me a bitch of a headache. The way she talks it sounds like she's angry at me for being lazy and stealing from the company by not doing things right or reading her mind.
However, I managed to get through it all. I am pretty glad that I only have two and a half more weeks of this. I'm also pretty sure that I won't be offered a position here because I don't speak Japanese and they seem to really want that ability for the replacement person.
I did get a call today about another possible placement. It's decent pay, much closer to home and probably better hours. I really hope they will seriously consider me and it might pan out. Plus, I looked up the info that Kelly needed to place me at Dow so hopefully that might work out too.
