(no subject)
Well, today was very interesting. When they hired me they told me that I was there while they were training a new hire and I would be helping to cover her work while she got up to speed as well as cover some vacations. Plus today was the last day of one of their employees so even though I was only going to be around for a month at most, I would not be bored.
However, today when I got there, we all found out that the new girl was no longer there (apparently she was very lazy and not at all thrilled with the work). They said that they're planning on hiring someone to replace her (maybe me but they didn't sound like they'd be making an offer yet).
So, today I spent most of the day training on a horribly difficult report and a few other things in order to cover for one girl's vacation next week. It was grueling and I kept feeling like I needed a smoke (I expect I will be drinking a bit Later on this evening, though).
After work, I went by the opening on a new Jack-in-the-Box for some free yummy food. It was pretty fun and even though there was a substantial crown the whole time, I managed to get through and eat my dinner in just under an hour (trust me, that was pretty impressive).
So now I'm here at home, relaxing and catching up on the tons of TV shows packing DVR. I hope you all are doing well out there and I will talk to you again soon. I hope you all have a great weekend.
