Money, Money Money ...

I just finished watching a show where the main character turned down a job because it paid so little that she was horrified at the amount and couldn't live on it.

What upsets me about this is that the amount she would have been paid is more than I've earned for almost my entire life. My last three jobs haven't paid that much and I've honestly only had two that paid that much or more. I have 30+ years of experience in my work and I am barely earning at or above the poverty level. This frustrates me to no end especially since the government is screwing with my unemployment and I don't know how we're going to be paying the rent next month.

I'm really having a hard time coping and I am just so frustrated it's not even funny. I'm just needed to vent here and don't want or expect anything from any of you out there. Just an ear to hear (as that's something I don't have anymore).

I now return you to your regular lives (already in progress) ...

TTFN!
