(no subject)
Well, tomorrow's going to be pretty damn interesting. The new phone system at work is supposed to be going live and I am supposedly to be using it and receiving calls. HOWEVER, they have yet to give me one single second of training of any kind (how to actually use the system, customer service, terminology, etc.), I have no intention of getting on. Plus, according to what I've overheard, my bitch of a boss (who has allowed this all to happen and knows my feelings about not going on without training) is supposed to be in meetings most of the day (or out with her new "bestie" the rest of it) so it's not looking good at all.
Does this mean I could be out of a job by the end of the week? Possibly, but I feel that I am fully justified by my position. Especially since I have a very LOW tolerance for stupidity (from bosses or customers). If I did actually go on without training, I would certainly be fired and I refuse to be set up like that. This sort of shit is legally actionable so I am in the right. I'm just really getting sick of being treated like I don't matter. I'm just hoping to make it through Friday. That's all I need to open a new unemployment claim.
So, that's what's going on in my life. I guess I should be bewaring the Ides of March.
