(no subject)
Quick posting. We finally have a computer. It's a nice little laptop and we are still breaking it in (lots of trouble with the cursor moving at will when typing). Still, it's nice to have a real computer. Plus I will soon have everything set up where I can have full audio & video capabilities (which I haven't had for years).
Work is going well too. The boss is a lot better these days. We had a long talk and she thought she was being encouraging by criticizing & second-guessing and then saying something nice. I let her know that she had been calling me incompetent and stupid all the time and it was really hurting me. So, now things are really good between us. She spent most of today creating a report that shows that the work volume has been increasing and the employees have been decreasing so that they can justify hiring more people. I've also heard that I would be one of those people. Well, the report did show that work volume has increased dramatically so they should be able to hire more people (ME!).
