With A Little Help From My Friends ...
Happy Bastille Day everyone! Remember to go out and eat a burger to celebrate (explanation for why is here). I went out with beldar & veronica_rich to a local dive (which used to be a major chain in town but is now down to only two locations and both of those are in really rough neighborhood's). In fact, the areas are so bad we left the first location because they didn't have a working bathroom and were selling bootleg DVDs out of the store and there was the possibility of a throw-down with the chick selling them. The second location was good and we had a nice meal and much reminiscing about friends absent.
Afterwards, beldar had to go to work while veronica_rich & I went out and ran a few errands. We had a great time and I loved the reactions at the McDonald's (which we swung by for cheap drinks) to my Special Bastille Day T Shirt.
I do hope everyone out there is doing well and having a great day. I know I haven't been as attentive to you all as I used to be (or as much as I'd like to be) but I am trying to read your journals more and comment where I feel I can. I do miss the closeness I used to feel with you and am hoping to reconnect as much as possible. Love to you all and I will talk again soon!
