And I'm Still On Unemployment ...
So, I still have no office assignment, no schedule and no way to clock in. I have yet to be paid for the 18 hours of paid training I did in December. I have an employee number but it is not valid for anything. So today I get an email saying that since I haven't worked any hours in the past two weeks I must have quit the company. WTF!?!?!?!?
Listen dickwads, I haven't worked because you won't fucking let me work! I have been ready, able and trying to work since before the beginning of December and you people keep dicking me around and refusing to allow me to work.
I sent back a response detailing the shit I've endured (politely, but pointedly) and told them that if it weren't for my three years of past experience with the company I would have walked long ago. I also mentioned their unprofessional and lackadaisical attitude towards their employees and problem resolution. Then I copied it to all of the executives I have tried to get this issue resolved with prior to now.
Now, a typical company receiving this sort of email would be calling me first thing Monday morning to get me in and try to fix the situation. However, I doubt I even get an email on Monday let alone an offer of resolution in any way shape or form.
So it looks like I'm gonna be pressuring the temp agencies for work Monday. This is just so typical of my life lately. I'm getting sick and tired of it all.
