Happy New Year everyone! I just finished signing my contract for tax season. I know I should be all happy about this but I'm really not. I have a lot of bad feelings about the company based on all the lies and bullshit I have had to endure thus far. Still, it is a job and we can desperately use the money.
I hope everyone out there has wonderful plans for tonight. beldar & I are going to the usual party. There will be gaming (my favorite part) and I hope to be able to drink my way through any rough patches (lord knows it will help make some of the company more tolerable). For those of you who don't know, the party's at a hotel and we do have a room (that we're sharing with other friends) so we'll be sleeping off the party and it's effects safely. Plus, we'll have awesome waffles the next morning as part of their breakfast offering.
As I'm sure you've guessed, I am ready to get this shitball of a year over and behind me. It's pretty hard to imagine 2010 being any worse but I doubt it will be much better. I wish you all a great day and I will talk to you again next year.
