Last night's show at the Phoenix, "The Dos and Don'ts of Time Travel" was wonderful. The cast is bubbly and bright. The show is funny, fresh and non-stop engaging. In fact, so much so that the under 90 minute running time feels a bit too short. I would like to see more of the story brought to the stage. I really can't recommend this show enough. It's a wonderful discussion of time travel and personal relationships put forward by a stellar cast. Or as beldar put it, "If you only see one lesbian time-travel comedy this year ...".
Tonight is "Rocky Horror" at the IMA. That should really be fun. I hope to see some of you there. I plan on wearing my lab coat (at least at first). If you do see me, please come over and say "Hi!".
On another note, I tried my hand at making seven minute frosting today. However, it was totally full of fail. It tastes okay but is very runny (icing consistency rather than frosting). Still, the garnish helps cover the flaws. This really sucks as this is my favorite kind of frosting and if I can't make it, then I won't get it.
Anyway, I forgot to post this yesterday when I was posting stuff about "Tosh.0". One of the little comedy bits they did was a list of domain names that are still available. One that they listed that we had to stop and look up was "cutethingsbeingputtosleep.org". That one and .net are now taken and being sat upon. However, cutethingsbeingputtosleep.com is actually up an running with weekly polls of which cute thing should perish. *NOTE* Nothing is actually killed on this site. It is just a humorous little poll. DO NOT send the owner hate mail (especially since he lives in Indiana).
